Take responsibility

To all you “inner city” residents (and I am one of you), quit whining about special-interest programs that may be eliminated from Kansas City’s budget and start taking responsibility for yourselves.

It’s simply the right thing to do.

I think we should take back some of the $600M GIVEN to the stadiums for seat reduction/suite expansion. let's cut back foodstamp distribution bonuses given out by the State as well, that was an easy $2M they rightfully did not deserve. Or let's just raise taxes on a select few which is typically what happens at the end of the day.

I wonder what happens to people who write these letters, I never see them come back and comment on our comments?

Notice he said I am one of you and not one of "us".

Crappy letter, you can tell because El Mon Kee liked it.

Stifled Freedom

A little more detail as to which special interest programs he is concerned about would be nice.

Careful Charlie, how dare you suggest such a thing in the "Hammer and Sickle" newspaper!
