Blast to the past

While most cities around us were banning fireworks with no tolerence or very little tolerance, Liberty allowed at least three large stands set up within a short distance of each other and inside the city limits.

For years selling forworks was banned in the city limits, so my theory is that either we were able to go back with our time machine, or the city council had some ulterior motive for allowing those tents.

It sounded like a war zone until after midnight on the Fourth.

How would you like to live next door to Ramona? I bet she would be on your butt like white on a picket fence if your stereo was too loud, your dog barks, or heaven forbide you cooked out and made too much noise.
