Liberal agenda?

In regards to Mark Haskell’s letter, “Sick of the liberal agenda” (7/5, Letters): It hasn’t been a year since the election.

America put up with Bush and company and their agenda for eight years. My advice is the same my conservative friends kept giving me after the elections of 2000 and 2004:

“Deal with it!”

At least the KC star is 100% conservative in outlook.

Yesterday that was Marxism, Kee. So you are saying : Liberalism = Marxism?

So, I ask you again to demonstrate ANY knowledge of original Marxian ideas. Don't mention the Kremlin, they "kidnapped Marx, much the way we kidnap Adam Smith. In fact don't mention any dictatorships; Marx would disapprove.

You're a black-and-white man caught up in a 128 pack of crayolas world.

Weird comment, Argo. Liberalism is everywhere, displayed every day on tv and on every page on this newspaper.

I don't need a dictionary. I have Olbermann, Diuguid, and Obama, who cheerfully provide an an example of, a definition for, and an unwitting rebuttal to liberalism.

It's not a mystery.

You are probably right, Agro.

Love the comment Agro. You want a definition of Liberalism? How about the government taking over banking and the auto industry. How about spending over a TRILLION dollars in less than six months. How about a bill that increases gasoline costs by 50% and home heating and cooling costs by30%? How about 10% unemployment and climbing. How about another tax increase on us all. Oh, but wait we still have "hope" and "change"........an oh yes, government ran health care....

You want Liberalism defined moonbat? Look at the current louse in office, and the who came before him apparently his hero, Jimmy Carter.

My experience has been that most self-proclaimed conservatives can't define liberalism even with a dictionary in front of them and that they would not recognize a liberal if one jumped out of the weeds and bit them on the butt.

It IS funny; strange, NOT humorous, how bitterness turns smug with just the baton passing from one team to the only other. The inherent gridlock at the capitol is what ends up winning the race

Yes, the mistakes of the Bush years should be offset with a completely new set of mistakes. Brilliant!!
