Obama tries to scare us

The direction of our government is scaring me. Every time President Obama comes on he tries to create an air of fear that if what he believes will make it better is not done with expediency, our country will crash. There is no time for discussion, debate or looking at another point of view.

Once our legislators, the people we voted in to represent us, get to Washington, they don’t listen to us. They vote the way they want. Whatever happened to the legislator reading the entire bill? The cap-and-trade bill is an excellent example. At the last minute there were 300 pages added to it, and it passed the House the next day.

Remember the stimulus that was supposed to be the answer? Who is going to pay for all this? We know who — us. Our tax burden in the next few years is going to be crushing, and still they are considering a health-care package that is astronomical. Revamp what is in place now and put controls in place to guard costs.

When the next elections come around, I plan on voting out all incumbents. Please let your voice be heard.

A JoCo Quick Pick:

KC Star, Thursday, 7/9/09, pg.A-18, Letters:

REFORM HEALTH CARE

I certainly hope that Cathy Ash and Mary Goodwin (7/3 Letters)will read Barbara Shelly's column "Health care Stories Tell Her Changes Are Needed" (7/3 Opinion). It brings to a personal level the need for reform of health care in the U.S. I have no fear of a Medicare-type health care for all. Indeed I hope for it. I have had 5 surgeries in the last 5 years, and with Medicare and my gap insurance, I paid only a pittance-- and received excellent care with no waiting.

NoMoHoMo do say confederate or Stalin? I'm sure it wont matter since you are in a gated community surrounded by your people! Better put up cameras because you know those desperate house wives love Chocolate.

EL,

Free speech..., but pitiful attempt to tie Jeanette's cited thread "extremes" to one another.

The original gist was "Obama is scary", not "Obama is scared".

jazz do say "Axe" or "Ask"?

Is Obama scared of fat gay men?

This blog is a hoot! Somehow we went from the letter about being scared of Obama to fat gay people! Don't you just love free speech!

Pub, I assumed you were the strait one right? If not let me know so I don’t falsely bash you!

Pub, I have many gay friends, and most of them at least try to look good. I can't think of any of them who are obese like yourself.

So, I suppose we should add KC Chief as one of your many jobs now? Not surprised, really.

Roger--you thought all gay men were 5'9" and 135 lbs.? OMG, all I have to say is do NOT turn off Safe Search on Google Images.

Also, have you told the Chiefs that by your calculation 90% of the team is clinically obese?

LOL, I just saw where NoMo asked Sol to come to the boat to argue loudly :>) it was on the (Statue honors Civil War general) thread.

I will just keep backing up until at least chalveyob tires out but I heard gay men ride bikes in spandex and are fit. Probably one of those we have been talking about that take up the middle of the road because of Gay macho issues.

chalveyob I want to squash the rants and offer my home in compromise: can you decorate it for me but no stautes.

Chevy and Pub are both clinically obese, with a BMI > 30. That's nothing to laugh at.

Jazz, if you have to fight one of them, just stall for 30 seconds. Then you'll be golden with the big boys.

Welcome Roger to another make no since off the subject rants.

Dear Chalveyob--
OMG! 6'4" and 250!
I'm 6'2" and 235!
And Arminius is 6'2", 225, and an ex-Marine!"

O my. And I always thought gay men were obsessive about their appearance. Get thee to a weight watchers meeting, fellas. The gym can wait.

Oh my bad NoMo!

LOL, I love but from now on HoMo I will say GNR! thats slang for got a N.... rolling, that should suit your Racist stereo type.

chalveyob I just wanted to let you know where I would be so you can sit down and have tea with me you big ole ham lover. I have a gay nephew who is a awesome human but even he knows that you should keep you mouth shut out side the bedroom.

10-4, Jeanette,

And I've been meaning to offer condolences on your family's loss of NY deli. I HATE to see the demise of longtime LOCAL businesses!

Heemeny, jeemenny,

Obama don't scare me halph as much as all the machismo and (false) bravado herein touted.

Course, Obama don't scare me none, so you do the math

No reason to fear.....none of us are on the bar. At the bar, maybe but not on it.

Jeez, I think I'm more scared of this blog then Obama.

Jazz I figured you walked with a limp because of cultural reasons.

Nice touch, with the health club, next thing you know you will say you know karate. ROFLMAO! You seem obsessed with homosexuals, I think you and Pub 17 will be very happy, be sure to wear your Obama costume!

Chalveyob, you great big hunk of Merriam-Webster--for the record, "aggressive, not "agressive," at 1:56.

See, solomon? There's no sport in it anymore, it's like hunting catfish in a horse tank with a stick of dynamite.

Pub 17, I can understand, I was a Nebraska football player in the 90’s for a couple of years. Was taken down buy small D-backs which is why I walk with a limp now. lol.

As for you chalveyob (sponge bob gay pantz), I am scared of you simply because you seem to have a serial killer vibe going on. But hey if you feel the need to find me I am always at the Metcalf 24hr fitness after 5 to let you know that I’m available but not for a date lol.

Jazzman, you are rambling like a moron, please stop. You really need some help, by the way Braun is a razor, I think you meant brawn. I suggest you spend less time looking for dates online, and maybe go back to school or something.

Jazz-Man
True story: I used to be a He-ro in the weight room; at the new KState gym I maxed out the leg sled, and kids half my age would check it out as they went by. Then I got pushy in Aggieville with a guy about, oh, 5'7", kind of chunky, who it turned out had been a wrestler IN HIGH SCHOOL, and couldn't make the team at KState. He leg-whipped me to the parking lot, had the grace not to club me senseless, and taught me the virtue of mannerly behavior.

Solomon--never better. I stopped posting because torturing Republicans in the present political climate is like poking puppies in a cardboard box with a stick.
