Statue honors Civil War general

On June 27, Confederate Civil War Gen. Jo Shelby was finally honored with a life-sized statue of himself astride a horse. He has long been considered one of America’s greatest cavalrymen. Under different circumstances, he might have been the best in the world.

This Confederate from Missouri saw action from 1858 to 1865. After the Civil War he refused to surrender, instead going to Mexico. Gen. Shelby is buried in Forest Hills Cemetery in Kansas City on Confederate Hill. His funeral procession is still considered the largest attended in Kansas City history.

This is a beautiful statue in a beautiful park in historic Waverly, Mo. Please pay a visit soon.

Right Sol, I guess if i were to get a an Obama face on my sleeve with a backdrop of the African continent, that would more appropriate. I see how these double standards work, everyone else can show their "pride" bt not Southerners.
"Yes You Did".

wouldn't that be two sh**'*?

....serious problems dude........

.....dixie on your arm....what a crock...

So the State Auditor is a liar?
Sol you can believe what you want, I really dont give two sh** what you think

...now I'm a fan of the court system.....

dixie ink on you arm.......

....still trying to explain your lies about your life......

harrahs crap tables?.....pass

NoMo no wants to fight but I was planning on coming down to gamble, should be interesting to see you if you will be there. Buy you a drink if you drink!

Sol say and think what you want. Don't blame me because the Missouri State Auditor posts the facts in regards to the fraud committed by the State and the court. Not to mention the national statistical FACTS that prove the system is bogus and unfair. You are a sympathizer to the family court system of which you somehow believe is fair and equitable in the best interests of famileis and children (excuse me while I puke). I know what the NAACP informed of, whether you want to believe it or not is your problem. I can say i do not vot for someone blindly based on the expectation of handouts and race. Considering where I grew up, we live in what would equal gated. Screw lawyer, the best kind of lawyer is a dead one. If they are Ivy League snobs that is a bonus. I am geting some new ink and I plan on putting a Dixie on me sleeve, so you can easily find me at the craps tables at Harrah's. Come on down, let's see what you got.

thread, personal or about a statue?

My dearest Kate gave me the RX for dealing with you, fred.....have a nice day!

Man of many words, and Lawyer wasnt one of them.

Wow NoMo got have gotten the Race Card to rant with one word! I stand in awe sir!

Now he can direct his vile at me and he will feel oh so much better, lol.....

Idiot!

you've still got it....as I've said, it was your ridiculous posts that made me register my first comment here, and you haven't lost it. From your BS about trying to join the NAACP to your attempts to convince us that the court system, your ex wife's drug habit(while you were clean and sober), blacks and the State of Missouri have made your life in the gated community you lied about here a living hell you continue to start your week with this hateful crap.

Try and have a day with no hatefilled thoughts. It would do you good.
