Thank you, Frank Boal

We will miss Frank Boal and his expertise at the Sports desk of Fox 4. He was always accurate, fair and timely in his reporting.

But we, The Telephone Pioneers, will remember him for his treatment of us during the many years of the Children’s Mercy Golf Classic. I was co-chairman of the Roping and Staking Committee for the better part of 22 years, and Frank never missed the opportunity to compliment our group on the quality of our work and tell us he appreciated our effort.

Tom Watson, the Blue Hills Country Club staff and members and Frank Boal treated us with the utmost courtesy and praise for our efforts during the years of the “Classic.”

Thank you, Frank. And thank you, Tom and Blue Hills Country Club.
