Why does The Star feel compelled to print Maureen Dowd (10/29, “It seems some habits never change”) just because she is popular with their readers? The article exposed Dowd as hostile to Catholicism by her rants at Pope Benedict XVI calling him “uber-conservative pope” also known as “God’s Rottweiler,” who was once “a conscripted member of the Hitler Youth.”
These epithets are examples of unfair, prejudicial and just downright mean anti-Catholicism. Dowd would never say these things about an Islamic, Jewish or African-American religious issue. Too often the Catholic Church is deemed fair game as a punching bag for anything liberals want to rant about.
The Star should remember that although there are subscribers who “enjoy” Dowd’s column, there are far more subscribers — including non-Catholic Christians — who sympathize with Catholics, who find this type of diatribe offensive.

While you’re at wikipedia look up “number of people Stalin killed”. How can anyone make the assumption what when his Army was “just following orders” to burn, destroy, remove, kill entire villages that it was all done free of rape and pillage of innocent men, women and CHILDREN?

Oh, we’re back to whispering’s need for only selected facts "presented to 'prove' a conclusion and ideology“. Actually, in this case we’re selectively ignoring facts about Stalin. We’re all so glad that whispering’s idol and moral compass just killed. JUST. None of that “more morally repulsive” side issues that weasel they’re way in while people, villages, entire populations are being systematically destroyed.
Whispeing = No one kept a record of the number of children raped, abused and killed by an atheist government so it must not have happened. Hide yer lil' childrens indeed!!!

I just get sick of the entire attitude of CAtholicism. You have to be "certified" or "approved" by the church.
I mean seriously, it seems Cathlocism is more about power, cntrol, money and doing deeds to appease others in the church versus an actual belief system.
If you disagree with the church, you are a heathen.

He was later a POW.

As proven here from time to time, Mark Robertson from Independence is "Catholic", "uber-conservative" and "God's Rottweiler". MR always has time to rant against "sinners" and "homos" and "pagans" and "non-Catholic Christians" but I doubt he's popular with hardly anyone.
