Bottoms up to Boulevard

How about those nifty Ripple Glass purple/violet recycling bins located all around the metro area? Boulevard Brewing Co. and its merry band of community sponsors should receive much praise for providing a much- needed service to the community. This is a classic case of seeing a need and addressing that need with study, planning and execution as well as speculative investment.

Now glass beverage containers can be recycled locally, without shipment to non-local processing sites for conversion to cullet — the product used for manufacturing fiberglass and other building materials. Way to go, Boulevard!

Also, let’s hear about some of the eco-minded businesses that are doing their part in recycling and alternate uses of existing systems for heating and cooling.
