Roberts, Bond questioned

There are two issues that voters need to be asking their elected representatives. First we need to know why Sens. Pat Roberts and Kit Bond voted against an amendment by Sen. Al Franken, which would have barred the government from doing business with contractors who deny employees who have been raped to bring their cases to court.

We also need to ask the Republicans in the Senate why in the world they are blocking an extension of unemployment benefits when thousands are losing their jobs so close to the holidays. If the press won’t ask these questions, we’ll just have to do it ourselves.

"elected" with 40,000 ACORN originated ballots." _ Kee

Are you against voter participation in the election process, or are you saying that there was voter fraud. If so, what proof do you have? I know that there were registration cards that were filled out without being properly varified by the ACORN registars, but as far as I know, all of those were tossed out by state officials. With that said, ACORN is the largest group out there trying to facilitate minority participation in the election process. Do you have a problem with qualified minorities voting?

My God Senator Clara is about to have a full out tie-dyed, genuine, hissy fit! LMAO, she has her panties in a wad over Stuart Smalley, OMG! I can't stand it!

Listen Clara Minnesota's state bird being the "loon" is living proof of why Franken was "elected" with 40,000 ACORN originated ballots. Right. You go Stuey!

Senator Franken ("a idiot") has already proven he's got more on the ball than most of the old-timers. The man is a remarkable change from the stooge and "a idiot" Norm Coleman.

If you want to see "a idiot", give a listen to Senator Cantor or Senator "Tanned to a Color Not Found in Nature" from Ohio. Now those guys are "a idiots".

The same conservatives who worked so hard to ban ACORN from government contracts after the faux-pimp-hooker conservative reportage, have no problem with continuing to give government contracts to corps who make it a practice to sweep sex crimes against their employees under the rug.

Is this a surprise?

Garrett is obviously not keeping up with current Republican ideology. Business (and profits) is the #1 priority, advancing the conservative political agenda is #2. Sex crimes? Not even on the radar. In fact, most corporate sex crimes against women were probably her own fault for dressing in a way that only baited the poor conservative male into the so-called crime.

They are not against companies having moral and legal values and rules. They are against voting for an amendment put forward by a idiot.
