Who cares what they wear at P&L District?

Who cares about the dress code for the Power & Light District? (11/15, Local, “Protesters fault policies of Power & Light District”). When there is 10 percent unemployment, desperate measures in Washington to kill our much-needed health care and two wars, why does The Star put such frivolous material on the front page of the Sunday Local section?

I did an informal survey among the adults where I work. Among 20 Jackson County and Johnson County residents (including me), half have never even been to the new Power& Light District. And only two out of the 20 care what anyone wears there.

Who cares? The racist in the KC area that want to keep the p&ld lily white.

Drop the dress code, hire a diverse group of security (key work is diverse) and allow KC to enjoy where their tax dollars was spent.

Yep the city has a school system that only graduates half its students from high school. They change supers every other year because the supers do not kiss the butts of the "community activists". The City is broke, it has streets fit only for ATV's, and what are they worried about? Attire.

Go figure.
