Law protects KC police animals

Regarding the front-page article in The Kansas City Star on Sept. 13, “KC’s new law fills a gap,” I was pleased to know that a city ordinance had been issued to convict the perpetrators of cruel abuses against Kansas City police animals.

That law protecting these animals should be extended to protect all animals subjected to cruelty by ignorant, degenerate human beings who are the lowest trash of humanity. Each and every one of them should be fined and jailed.
