Obama criticism

If awards were being given for the number of disparaging remarks about President Barack Obama that could be crammed into one vitriolic piece, I would nominate a recent letter-writer for the prize. Rhetoric like this is political, and includes no proposals that would help the country.

I counter the writer’s assertion that “a large majority of citizens didn’t want” the health care plan, with a question. No one said the plan was perfect, but does he think that no change at all would have been better?

Unemployment rates are obviously still unacceptable. But experts declare they would have been worse without the stimulus package. “Blame America tour?” Hardly. President Obama speaks for people like me when he decries the attitude: “America, right or wrong!”

He is not undermining the Founding Fathers’ principles when he expresses regret for past policies which did not uphold them. The challenges a president faces daily are gargantuan.

Let’s give Barack Obama a chance. He has until 2012 to demonstrate that he can do what he hopes to do for America, and it is only the middle of 2010.

WSJ, Today

"The U.S. economy has shed jobs for three straight months, though the losses in August were about half the 110,000 predicted by economists in a Dow Jones Newswires survey.

The unemployment rate, calculated using a separate household survey, edged up to 9.6%, as expected, after holding at 9.5% for previous two months."

And when he replaced in 2012 the problems will be tenfold.

So was it class warfare with the bush tax cuts that's not enough said once again no facts and no solutions.....whispering kc.......k sirridge once again spreading hate you never base anything on true facts fact is that 13 trillion dollar deficit would have been their even if no new policies were passed......wondering if you don't realize we live in 2010 not 1810 communications and information can be obtained 24 hours a day he doesn't have to be in the oval office to do work are you for real........funny thing bout that is he's taken less vacation the the previous four presidents....not wondering anymore if it has to do with the color of his skin cause no one is wrong 100 percent of the time......

Obama and his administration suffers from terminal arrogance..His own party has begun speaking out against his plans.

He promised much and all he has delivered is over a 25% increase in our national debt. Last time I looked, our debt was at 10.3 trillion when he took office; 17 months later, it's at 13.4 trillion. Which has been squandered on ridiculous schemes.

"but experts have declared they (jobs) would have been worse without the stimulus package". Experts are a dime a dozen on both sides of that argument. All I know is that it hasn't worked and I am seeing people across this country that were never without a job..unemployed now.

Whether some of us want him to continue on his reckless course or not..he has just short of 30 months to turn this ship around. Maybe he can manage to break away from his golf games and apology tour for our nation..and actually do what is best for ALL of us.

I've seen a few presidents..no doubt in my mind..so far, he is absolutely the worst.
