Christina Aguilera couldn’t remember the lyrics to “The Star Spangled Banner” during the Super Bowl. That’s disgraceful.
The fans and players showed disrespect to our flag by not taking off their hats and putting their hands on their hearts during the National Anthem.
No matter who you are, when that flag is flown, thank your maker that you’re in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Come on people. We have to get our America back.
Also, those of you in Washington, it’s time for accountability. You work for the people. Perchance while you were reading the Constitution of the United States recently, you might have picked up on the meaning of a few Articles.

Why does this have to be sung by some celebrity? There is always a military honor guard carrying the flags, why not have a military choral group sing the national anthem? It would actually mean something to those who serve. You could even rotate which branch of the armed services performed each year. They would never get it wrong and it would truly be inspirational.

I dunno, I kinda have a lot of respect for the anthem.....I think some folks don't know the story behind it.

Bob Geigel Mr. Solomon? How about Harley Race? BoBo Brazil? The Mad Russian? You sound like some guy that went to East High School and had a few pals, who were, gasp, "Vikings". You ever see that Art teacher again? (smile)

AGAIN I say....
Christina has appologized....I guess everyone makes mistakes, but she really was awful! It is always nice to hear our anthem sung beautifully....I think they should just CUT OUT the embellishments
....it's not about the singing star it's about the country.

Now let's just give her a break and wish her well singing at Sunday's Grammy Awards.

....maybe your America never really existed Barb?
....and what's the deal over the anthem anyway? These nuts who complain about everytning ever stop to consider that when Francis scott Key wrote it and it was first performed chances are slim it resembled the version we all used to hear when the TV stations signed off?....

Oh grow up. It's a complicated song, she's nervous I'm sure, and just made a mistake. And don't blame it on some anti-America attitude. Singer Robert Goulet flubbed the same way way during a World Series game back in the 1970's. Goulet was hardly anti-American, he said he just blanked out. He was the subject of ribbing on Johnny Carson and numerous other places for years.
If you're so upset, are you also upset when the local idiots sing "...and the home of the CHIEFS!"? That's intentionally changing the song.
