Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster recently announced that he was filing suit against John’s Butcher Shoppee in the St. Louis area for substitutions in some of their meats. During a news conference, Koster said, “Consumers should be able to trust that the products they buy are what the manufacturer has advertised.”
I’m anxiously waiting for Koster to file suit against President Barack Obama, former House Speaker Pelosi and all involved with the Obamacare scam bill for the same reason.

I agree. The law is unConstitutional and needs to be repealed or found so by SCOTUS.

Editor, we are pretty mild compared to Congress. I think the back-and-forth within this blog is pretty representative as to what our country has become. Until I see Congress try to show the restraint you refer to, I will just follow the leaders of my country and their childish example.

Mr. Obama's mother's insurer was CIGNA. We had them at work for a while, once. CIGNA is pretty bad. Even in the horrible world of private health insurers, CIGNA is pretty bad.

I wondered how long before it (the lying one) would have to come up with some story here. Hey tell us how you were involved with Obama's mother and how you personally saw her getting cheated by CIGNA. I bet you interviewed her at the Booga Bottom Cafe while eating like a field hand and drinking sweet tea!

Thank you, Letters Editor, drop by more often.
To continue the thread, here is a link to a Malkin article citing other instances of untruths told to get Obamacare passed:

Kneejerk libs will attack the author of the article without laying a glove on its content. That's an ad hominem fallacy; try to avoid it here and everywhere.

Let's watch the name-calling. The level of discourse around here is very troubling lately, and it drives other commenters away.

There are numerous books on Amazon full of "facts".
911 was an inside job carried out by the New World Order. UFOs are housed at Area 51 and Kennedy had Marilyn Monroe knocked off by a CIA man from the grassy knoll.

"... it is a fact that Obama lied about CIGNA and his mother. ..."
It's also, obviously, a "fact" that he lied about being born in Kenya and a secret Muslim sent here to destroy the USA.

That may or may not be the case. However, it is a fact that Obama lied about CIGNA and his mother.

"... The moonbats are in denial. ..."
You win, Kevin. Obama is a Kenyan Muslim, sent here to destroy the USA in an ObamaNation.

BTW, Obama's status as a Muslim is no secret. In accordance with Islamic law, he was born a Muslim and continues to be a Muslim.

The moonbats are in denial. Note that the White House did not dispute her findings.

The media has lied about how insurance comapanies have dropped individuals. That has not happened since HIPPA came out 15 years ago. Did they do that before, maybe. IF you think this is going to help with the prices of health insurance, you have been drinking way too much koolaid. Do what I have done and go to the state of Massachusetts and run your own quotes and let us know how cheap it is there. You have to get all parties involved from hospitals, doctors and lawyers to get the cost of health care down. Like LL say IMO

You're wrong once again, moonbat. The fact that Obama lied involves much more than mere innuendo.

A claim has been made that Obama "lied" about his mother's insurance situation. Groenhagen has tried and convicted simply on that innuendo. How easy it is to lead some people around by the nose to delusions.

Sharon has great timing. We just learned yesterday that Obama lied about his own mother's experience with being denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition. Yes, Obamacare, is a scam and it will be scrapped shortly after the GOP takes control of the Senate and a Republican becomes president in January 2013.

"It is a whole different thing to be against a family being able to PAY for insurance on their children into their twenties."
I wonder if gringoloco gave any thought to that line before writing it.

You will not be forced to buy insurance from the government. If you want to buy insurance from a private company, you are free to do so. This bill makes healthcare more affordable to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Small businesses get tax credits to help cover the cost of insuring their employees. It will prevent insurance from denying you coverage due to a pre-existing condition. Medicare patients get cheaper drugs. And it will basically prevent your insurance company from screwing you over like they have done to countless Americans. Its not perfect. I don't agree with everything in the bill such as the mandate. But its a huge step in the right direction.

gringoloco....even democrats are coming out against "this particular" healthcare bill. With much of it not going into effect until 2013 & 2014 small businesses are unable to plan for the near future... The executive branch of the government is able to issue wavers to some while others will be forced into this against their will. Medicare & Medicaid are hurt and will receive less money. Hopefully...we can revisit some of these issues and revisions can be made.
