GE plant in China

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers.

This is the same General Electric that made billions of dollars in the United States last year but paid no taxes. This is the same General Electric that employs more people overseas than in the United States.

President Barack Obama just insulted every unemployed American by appointing General Electric Chief Executive Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation. Apparently Obama wants jobs created in China but not in America.

Hey union members, are you still glad you voted for Obama? Apparently Obama wants you and your unemployed fellow Americans to keep Chinese workers fully employed.

See, this is why we shouldn't make corporations pay taxes! If it weren't for their huge tax bill last year, I'm certain they would have stayed in the US and created job, because that's what the Republicans tell me.

What's that you say? They paid NO taxes last year, and even got a huge rebate, but are still pulling this? Maybe tax rates aren't the end all be all that the 'Baggers claim.

Corporations have found their new business utopia in commie China, free of regs with abundant slave labor. What's not to like about this if you're from JoCo? This arrangement is what's paying for Wayne's new Beemer!!!

There comes a time when there are more important things than corporate profits.
Competitors should start hitting GE with negative ads about their products made with outsourced jogs.

GE has no loyalty to the US, nor do any other corporations that offshore US jobs. Corporations have only one concern , their bottom line. The people in China will work for basically nothing, compared to the wages and benefits paid here to US workers. If you were CEO of GE, and had the chance to cut operating costs and payroll costs, to boost company profits, what would you do? It's as simple as that.

Kind of funny, don't you think? It's so REPUBLICAN of Obama. Face it Wayne and big...it Obama was a republican, GE not paying any taxes would be considered an example of "pro business" attitudes.

Bigvarmit

Yes, this is why Obama invested in GE. He knew they would be moving jobs to China. He must feel he owes China some jobs.
