Passing on generosity

A friend and I met recently to shop and select a restaurant for a leisurely lunch in Lee’s Summit. After sharing news of our mutual friends with one another and enjoying a delicious meal, we requested our checks.

Much to our surprise, the waitress advised us that the check for both of our meals had already been paid. When we inquired further as to the identity of the person, she replied that she did not have the name of the individual.

We hope the responsible person reads this letter and realizes how much we appreciated his or her generosity. We plan to pass it on so some other individuals can experience the joy we had that extraordinary day.
