Romney’s uphill climb

According to my calculations, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will have to get 48 percent to 49 percent of the vote to get 1,144 delegates before the Republican National Convention. If GOP presidential hopefuls Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul are able to get 52 percent of the delegates among them, the convention in Tampa, Fla., will be brokered.

Sorry Sol.....about your dog. I know you spent many years together & a truer friend there never was...

....been there myself....my thoughts are with you...

......I'd agree LL, that he is as worthy of respect as is our President for his character...I don't think I ever could have typed those words about Gingrich or Clinton....

....as to the uphill climb, it looks as if the race is over....IMO, the doomsday clock is almost ready to hit 12am on Mr Santorum......I'll take April 20th(pulled ROOMA) in the company pool....

......off topic.....headed out to have the dog put down....what he gave us in return for bowls of food and the occasional walk was the picture of true affection....I'll see you's guys in a few days....

Uncommon sense

Hmmmm...so Frank Berry found the crack in the ice all by himself?

Frank, there are 19 states left to vote. These states all have primaries. From my research, more than half of the states left to vote assign all their delegates to the overall winner of the state, not by percentage of the vote.

So, you may want to revise your numbers and thought-provoking deductive reasoning. The remaining primary is nothing more than a formality.

If the comparison is Obama.....He's definitely as honest and as good a man as Obama....

...I have no worries about that!...

It's over. The primary has been bought. The negative campaigning worked. Mitt's your guy.

LL

It's a possibility granted....but, I don't think it's going to get that far. Romney's going to be the candidate IMO...
