Slow, steady driver

I’d like to explain my behavior as a cautious Kansas City area motorist. My reason for not pulling into an intersection and then waiting for traffic to clear before completing my left turn is purely self-preservation.

Drivers who are in a hurry and less cautious get maimed and die horrific deaths in intersections every day. I won’t make a left turn until I am absolutely sure I can enter and exit the intersection safely.

I can promise to continue to try to not be first in line at the light. Scout’s honor.
